AIT resistor with N20.. Why not??
AIT resistor with N20.. Why not?? We all know what happens when you run too much timing with N20.. In the past I have seen people advise not to use the AIT resistor when running N20 as it can increase the amount of timing our cars have at WOT. I have a question on this..
Would our Knock Sensor not pull out the timing if there was Detonation under a N20 pass?
It seems they do that when there is any detonation even NA.. Just wondering..

Re: AIT resistor with N20.. Why not?? FWIW...I tried pulling timing out using LS1 edit and the result was very poor performance and and increase in KR. I also use the timing tricker and have seen no such issues. If your knock sensors are fully functional, you should be fine.
Remember how cool the charge is going to be with N2O. If you are spraying a dry shot into the air box with the temp sensor in place, what do you think will happen? Very low IATs and very high timing. IMO, it's a non-issue.

Re: AIT resistor with N20.. Why not?? mr. nitrous always said he never understood why people pulled timing on nitrous, its a really cold intake charge which will keep the gasoline really stable.
