Default Pros and Cons of spraying with a TNT wet kit?

In the future I think I might be interested in getting a TNT wet kit and spray around a 150 wet...I would of course have to lower my stall which is currently around 5000 "true stall" but rated at a 4500...I have a TH400 so I could spray through the shifts, and I got a 12-bolt in back with 3.73's...The drivetrain can handle the power but what am I going to have to always worry about if I get a kit...I would want to get a window switch and what ever other safety items are out there...what do I have to worry about internally with the motor, the most I would spray on the stock bottom end would be 150, and that would most likely be for the track, but thats probably what a lot of people say until they try it on the street...how often would I have to change the plugs, etc...

I know the car would move pretty damn good, because it would be identical to Azzkickers setup...)

Can someone give me some imput on this..

Thanks,
Bos

you are definitely gonna have to lower that stall. i loved my tnt wet kit. i should have never gotten rid of it. but i needed money at the time. anyways, other stuff you are giong to need besides the kit are...
window switch
bottle heater
fuel pressure safety switch
inline or intank fuel pump if running 150 shot

i loved my kit. nothing ever happened, and i had quite a few bottles through it. the TNT kit comes pretty complete, with the inline filter, gauge i am pretty sure, WOT switch. keep tabs on the plugs. i can't tell you how often to change them, because that all differs for each specific car.

PROS-you'll go really fast

CONS-you'll get addicted and want to spray 200 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

How would I put the fuel pressure safety switch on around my fuel pressure gauge I got on there now?

where do you have the fuel pressure gauge mounted? there is that front area where the fuel line runs to. well, you can have an adaptor that screws on it and the FPSS screws into that. then the fuel line screws onto the end of the adaptor. i think you'd just have it downline of where the gauge is mounted. do you get what i mean?

How long will the stock bottom end last if I spray a 150 wet every now and then...lets say a 10lb bottle every 2 weeks going through the motor?

Thanks... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I really want to get the TNT kit, but I don't want to go BOOM... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

just do it and dont worry bout it. i ran about 30 bottles through my motor with a 100 shot. the only thing to look at is the rear and the trans, which you got both of them solved. just keep an eye on the autotap or gauges, and then go at it.

Ok, I think I am going to go through with it sooner or later then...the only gauge I have to monitor things is a fuel pressure gauge and my afr gauge, is there any need to adjust the AFR's while spraying with a wet kit, any risk at running lean??

a;ways a chance to run lean. but that's from either the fuel solenoid sticking shut, rare...or from your fuel pump not being able to keep up. make sure you got your fuel system worked out for the combination of your motor mods and the nitrous. that should keep you from hurting stuff.

I guess my best bet would to be to set the MAFT I got to 10% rich while spraying the wet kit, just to be on the safe side, then if I get it on the dyno I will play with the MAFT a little and see where I would be best...
