Default Spraying through the FTRA???

Anybody try it? Any pics? I was thinking it would be cool to spray a dry kit through it. When the car goes to the dealer for oil changes and little warranty work, they probably would never notice and wouldn't bug me about it.

I have the dual nozzle NOS 5177 kit, so I can put one on each side of the ram air duct. I could somehow mount the noids to the duct too.

by ftra what do you mean? If you mean the air filter tray yes I have done an install like this on a kids car. I installed the nozzles in whisper cold air duct down in front of the radiator. mounted the solenoids behind it bottle in spare tire location throttle switch hooked up by the pedal under the dash. Sorry no pics yet. The car is in the body shop due to a 19 year old with a z28 and nitrous and a pole.

he means fast toys ram air. and if you have an airfilter in, i wouldnt. if theres any residual moisture on it, you'll freeze it. then no air with get through either. i would just hide it under the lid neck. i worked at a dealer, and we never said anything...the hard part is hiding a properly working TPS switch. unless you have the new one from NX.

I have done an install with the FTRA and used all the 5177 goods but ran the solenoids below the headlight on the passengers side. The car had a completely hidden kit.

1. 2 fan sprays in the FTRA
2. Longer -3AN lines for fan sprays
3. All lines covered in convoluted tube
4. Solenoids mounted in Radio Shack project box under passenger side head light cavity.
5. Voltage relay/switch for WOT activation.(no microswitch)
6. OE fog light switch for system activation
7. OE rear window defogger for bottle warmer operation.
8. 10 lb bottle in dummy subwoofer enclosure

Only problem is spraying through the filter. It makes for a really soft hit (good for street racing) but cannot be used with oiled filters. You could actually see where the filter had nitrous exposure...the oil was not as well distributed (probally from the freezing conditions)

Performance was stealth but not optimal. I'd still rather have my direct-port
