I have a 422 with 37 pound injectors. Nick recommended the 36 pound injectors for the motor N/A. What size injectors should I get in order to support a 250 shot of juice? Would the 37's be able to support that amount of power, or would they be maxed out? The fuel system has been addressed, so that's not a problem there. TIA

Well...Im assuming you want a dry shot since your talking about injectors. Man your asking alot...lol. I would consider a wet kit. If your sold on going through the injectors your gonna need some big ones. I have SVO 42 lbders and got 623rwhp through them with a dry shot. Probably at or near 100 % duty cycle. I think youll be pushing much more than that.

That's just sick! ) )
Again, assuming you're talking dry, 48-50# injectors run at 60-65psi will take you to about 850-900hp (flywheel) at about 90% duty cycle. IMO, you definitly need to go with lucas (plate) style injectors to get enough low-pulse width control to have a reasonable idle.
Direct port is probably you're best option for the setup you're talking about.

I figured that direct port would be best, but didn't want to get into that kind of money. I have the NX system so it's wet. I just assume get the right pills for a 200-250 shot. I figure that if the TNT system is adjustable to 250, I should be able to do the same with the NX? Is this an unrealistic expectation? BTW, the injectors are from LS1motorsports. There the Delphi's

Well It depends on how much flow your particular solinoids can handle. What does NX say they are rated for? The only other thing I would be concerned about would be spraing that much fuel(250) down the intake. Especially all at once. Direct port with a controller would be ideal....have you considered the Noszle system?

Sorry, not familiar with the nozzle system. If there's a page you could direct me to I'd be more than willing to read it. I've never sprayed more than a 150 shot on my car. So I'm very much so the novice. This is the 1st time I've used N20 with this car or any other. The plan was to try and get the NOS controller to soften the initial hit on launch. The NX solenoids? Have no idea how much they could handle. Excellent point brought up. Looks like I'll try and contact NX and see what kind of info I can get from them as well.

postal, the size of your injectors will have nothing to do with your wet shot bro, only your fuel pump if it can keep up then your all good with a wet shot. I think your new 900rwhp support fuel system should be good, haha. also TNT sells a kit for direct port its not badly priced, I'll get you some links email if your interested.

the nx nozzle is rated at 150hp. you can upgrade to dual nozzles and double the hp to 300. that is with the solenoids you already have. I think you will have a hell of a time tring to get that kind of hp to the pavement. maybe a progressive system or 2 stages. just tring to help.my $.02

Chris, I remember the nozzle system now. That plug into the injectors.
Rich, you just had to be the bearer of bad news. Well I guess I'm going to try and see if I can hook up on a 150 shot then.
All the info given thus far is very appreciated. Thank you.
Nick, I think I may just look into the TNT system. If you have any info. Send it my way please.

The 'Nozzle' system referred to above is a direct port setup. It's a recent release from NOS that has an easier installation and less labor cost than a traditional direct port if you're gonna pay someone else to do it. Still, you're in for a $1000 or so for. Nick nailed the injector issue, it doesn't matter with a wet system. IMO 250 is way too much for a wet shot through the manifold - 200 is pushing it.
