Either one will work what you need to consider on your intake is where you are going to put the nozzles. The annular nozzle design tends to be the best for Vic Jr. manifolds because it allows you to put the nozzles right above the intake valve and fire it directly into the cylinder.

It really depends on how you are plumbing the intake. On many of these late model EFI style intakes you are kind of restricted to what you can use. If your intake is carburated you can use either or. If you use the Annular style nozzle you will need to weld bungs into the runner. With the 90 degree soft plume you can just drill and tap the intake.
If the intake is fuel injected its hard to put nozzle bungs in the vic jr due to the short runner. There is not much room between the throttle linkage and fuel rail. Makes plumbing it pretty limited.
If its fuel injection we normally take the intake and place it on the mill. We relocate the fuel rail mount on each side and then mill the intake so that we can put all the nozzle's in exactly the same way. We usually use a 90 degree nozzle placing it right beside the injector cup.
Here are a couple of other options for you nozzle wise.
Straight Blow through.

If you need the intake plumbed we specialize in that department.
