Re: Adjusting the Clutch on a NX bottle opener When you installed the opener did you follow the instructions and open the bottle all the way first? If you don't do this then it won't work right. Put a cap on the bottle nozzle..open the bottle all the way..put on the opener..hook up the opener power..close the opener..uncap the bottle nozzle attach it to your nitrous line and you should be good to go. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Adjusting the Clutch on a NX bottle opener How many of you guys found you've had to do this? My opener won't open the bottle after it closes it. Almost like it's turning it too tight and doesn't have enough power to open it back up. It just sits there and whirls.
So I tried adjusting it, not knowing what I'm doing and the instructions on how to do it are vauge as hell. How many turns? Could it be the bottle? It's an older NX bottle but when I put the turn **** on it, to me it doesn't seem that hard to open it.

I adjusted the clutch by taking off the top screen and holding the nut with a wrench while screwing in the phillps (on the inside) a half turn in. Works flawless now.
