N2O likes to be lugged down and short shifted look at a dyno pass the gains at lower rpm are greater than higher rpms and it creates more torque than you can imagine if you have a 3500 stall na it could stall as much as 4000 on a 250 hit. You also will run almost a 1000 rpm higher going through the lights maybe you need a different gear to help keep the motor loaded. This is why it is hard to have a fast na car and n2o car with out changeing a bunch of variables. Just tring to help out.Rich

I plan on lowering my "5000" stall currently setup for motor to a 3800 stall, it will most likely stall up to 4500 on spray and that would give me some pretty good times, I wouldn't be able to leave off the brake though, even with the 12-bolt eaton posi...I plan on foot stalling to about 3300, and then as soon as I see the 3rd yellow I am going to stomp on it, if that seems to aggressive, I am going to roll through the throttle and see how that goes, I have a 3.73 gear out back right now, with the standard TH400 gears, I think I am set, except for the verter... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Not to be a ***** but are you guys checking bottle pressure. I am sure with a shot that big you would need at least 1000psi.

I think the 250 shot cars I have heard of are fuel system limited. I think either the intank is too small (inline is not adequate for sure), heck, maybe the fuel lines are too small.

Todd, if your car is doing like 6000 grand all the way down the track it might be too much converter, but it's hard to say. You should run high 11's NA and mid 10's with a 200 shot IMHO.

I am running 11.1-11.2 NA and hope with a 200 shot wet to run some 9.99's but I may have to go with a smaller gear out back.
