1st timeslips on the bottle Well, the ET wasn't anything to right home about , but the MPH was ok... the best ET was a
12.78 @ 118.9. The launch was the hard part of the evening... my customer is way to easy
on his car... he was leaving at 1800 RPM and his best 60 foot was a 2.29. I took a shot after
a 12.89,12.80,& 12.80 all at 117 or above. I left at 4100 RPM and lost the clutch going into
second gear... I couldn't get the car to shift into second & the pedal stuck on the floor. Anyway,
this is on a stock '99 T/A with a lid, a wet 150 shot on a window switch. It is a 6 speed
car with 3.42 gears and drag radials... With a good clutch and a good 60 foot this could be a
low 12 second sleeper....Anyway, I am still amazed at how well these cars run !!!
