Default Anyone with Heads/cam N2O please enter..

I have a wet kit on MTI heads/cam car. I had jetted with NX 150hp jets. I blew head gasket so now I am scarred and want to jet down. What are you guys running....Since I put motor back together I have the 75nitrous jet and the 100 fuel jet just for time being. I have not made a full run with this jetting just hit for a second to see if was working. I would like to run at least 100hp but I want to be safe...BTW I have a vortech T-rex fuel pump that should be plenty. Has anyone run 150hp on top of heads/cam? if so what are your jet #'s?????
I have even thought of putting 150hp n jet in and just using larger than 150 fuel jet??? PLEASE HELP!!!! I WAS OUTRUN BY A SUPRA THIS PAST WEEKEND!!

Is your T rex fuel pump an intank, I thought they were inline only. That may not be enough fuel, Did you dyno tune your 150 shot with a wideband 02 sensor to make sure you werent lean? Are you absolutely sure you didnt starve for fuel?

You should be able to run that 150 shot as long as you have enough fuel, have at least TR-6 or colder plug gapped tight (.030-.035), probably have to retard timing a few degrees, maybe add some race gas too. Basically...I believe you either went lean and/or were experiancing detonation. Go through your entire setup again and go overboard on fuel requirements and conservative on timing, plug gap, etc.

Do you know what your kind of timing you are seeing on your car at WOT?

the trex is an inline, which MTI said should be plenty, my plugs are autolite 103's as I cant find ngk's locally. I am pretty sure i went lean...I am trying to figure out what jets to run...right now i have the 75hp nitrous jet and the 100 fuel jet (as per NX instructions on stock motor) but have not run it yet..its just there in case. ARE YOU RUNNING 140HP DRY SHOT??? if so what injectors are you using? if wet what jet sizes are you using?

we have no widband around here so me and a few supra guys may pitch in a nd buy one ourselves.

im running 28* max, gapped at .035

i did not use spray when beat by the supra.

I have heads/cam and N20. One of the guys that works at MTI told me not to run 150 shot. He said to use probably no more than 100 or 125shot. Since alot of guys who were using a 150shot on there cars were having problems. <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />
