112 leaded Splash with small dry shot
I'm going to try a small baby duke 50 shot [maybe just maybe a 75 but starting with a 50] i'm going dry pre-maf, basic kit just to start then slowly buying parts and moving to a plate wet setup. The car is an A4 & has head/cam and was making 394/350tq, afr's 12.2-12.4's . Now my main question its can I throw a gallon of 112 with few gallons of 93 to kinda give me a safety net? I was trying to go with 109 unleaded or any unleaded race fuel for that matter but all I can find its 110 or 112, thanks in advance.

im new to the nitrous game but i do know that running leaded fuel will damage the o2 sensor and no race gas is needed with such a small pill. to be in the safe zone is All about a proper tune. IMO i think the dry kit is a mistake
good luck

I wouldn't even go through all that. Just wait and save up for the plate. A cheap plate kit is the Dynotune kit. Its cheap and doesn't break the bank.
Forget the race fuel thing. You can spray more than that on pump fuel with a timing tuner like the one from Lingenfelter.

The dry kit I just finished putting on the car today, and its a little hit that 's going to hold me off for a few months. I know that small of a shot isn't really butt dyno noticeable, but it does make a difference on the streets/track.
I should just had asked if 112 would be any different than 109 other then eating o2's and plugs, performance wise that is.

No race gas would be needed for such small shot, but then again it helps with timing and give some safety cushion till I can get a proper tune, I only have experience with 109 unleaded which I had used in the past on previous kb/sprayed car, thus why my main concern on trying 112 leaded now and reason I made the thread...

bump.... have been running a 75 on just 93 octane, but would like to try a 100 shot. Was wondering if 2 gallons of 110 mixed with let's say 4 of 93 pump, would give me a safety net? Well actually just need it to run a friends car, but would go back to the 75 after the run till i can get this thing tuned next year. Anyone?

Well you have ignored all the advice you have been given so far...
How much timing does the car run NA? What are the AFR #'s on spray?
If you dont want to spray the car correctly and tune it right, no gas is going to give you a safety net.

Hey I can only share my experience but what everyone is telling you is the accepted truth, that is whether or not you accept it as the truth,,,
It seems that you are just looking for someone to validate your experimentation with this tiny dry shot of N2O. I have also done things that the masses on the interweb 99% disagree with. I have used a couple gallons of leaded race gas in the tank of my 2001 Z06 (approx 9 gallons of 91 octane pump gas in the tank prior) while at the drag strip (1/8 mile) and I was warned by a more experienced racer and tuner (AFTER having purchased and poured the leaded fuel into my car's tank) that it would destroy my oxygen sensors. I raced the car on the fuel and drove it home and haven't seen any O2 sensor issues. This was about 3 years ago and I still have the same O2 sensors on the car, no issues.

You guys convinced me, i'm not going to F with it, i'll just wait.
Now theres a local selling a diablo intune, I was thinking scooping that and use it to retard timing or send the pcm to frost so he can adjust the timing for the jug. Does anyone knows if Frost can burn a chip
or w/e so I can keep my n/a tune and have a diff tune for nitrous? what would you do, intune or frost?
