Timing drops on the jug. Does this happen with everyone else?
Yesterday I made a couple street passes to make sure the jug was working right. I haven't used it since the FTRA and new jets at full pressure. Put new plugs in AL 103's @ .44, got the bottle up to 1100psi with the 125 jets and made some passes.
First pass on the motor.
Average timing 20* 3850-5890
Peak timing 24* @ 5890rpm
Low Timing 17.5* @ 1850
KR 0*
Average O2 .916
Second pass N20
Average timing 18.3*
Peak timing 18.5* (From 4600-5900)
Low Timing 17* @ 3750
KR 1.1*
Average O2 .907
(Minor flashes of KR, Nothing above 1.1)
Third pass
Average timing 18.5*
Peak timing 19.5* @ 5950(18.5*from 4600-5800)
Low Timing 18.5*
KR 0*
Average O2 .903
Does everyone else see an automatic drop in timing on the jug? I can't see anything that would cause it.

TTT.. No one has seen a drop in timing on the jug??? What would be causing this if no one has seen it? Please help me out here..
Is this a dry shot? Do you have custom programming. Your timing looks low to begin with. I have heard some say there timing gets retarded with a dry shot...I have not seen that on my car with either the wet or dry shot. What kit do you have and how is it setup, where are the nozzles?

NOS 5177 2001 M6.. I hear the 01's have less timing to begin with, hence the 24* at WOT 5900rpm.. 2 nozzles in the lid 125 shot.

Yes, it'll drop a little with a dry shot but your timing is too low even when NA.
Start by getting rid of ALL KR. Reset your ECM as well. You might also try a 4.7K ohm resistor in your IAT sensor if it's warm out.

This is on a 01 car.. I have never seen more than 24,5* timing in it.. I has the resistor in the IAT sensor.. I have played with the O2's with my maft from .88 all the way to .93 and have never been able to get more than 24.5* timing at WOT. Have reset the PCM. What does your newer LS1 get for timing?
