Default Holy seeping solenoids, Batman!

So, wet kit went on fine, sprays fine, solenoids/relay click on/off fine, but there's a problem. When the fuel system has pressure and the N2O system is off, we leak fuel out the nozzle. With the kit apart and the nozzle in my hand, i can see it drip. Anyone have any idea's? Has this happened to you?????

New solenoid? Sounds like the seal on the plunger is bad.

If you don't want to hassle sending it back, you can disassemble the solenoid and try to clean it. It comes apart pretty easily. There may just be a tiny piece of trash stuck inside it. Just be careful about what kind of solvent you use inside the solenoid. Heck, a blast of compressed air may do just the trick by itself.

Or, you could just have NX send you a replacement...

ditto on what george said...undo the nut at the top, pull the magnet switch off, then unscrew the base. I'm betting a piece of dirt/teflon got in the seal...clean it off and you should be good to go <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I had my nitrous solenoid leaking slowly out the the coil side of the valve. I put some aircraft grade sealant around the gap to see if that helps. All it did was bleed out the gas when I felt the bottle open.

NX has a lifetime warranty on all there solenoids. I would just send it back and they will get you a new one.
