Default What rings and what gap

Well I finally decided to step up and go big cubes. I bought everything needed to build a 454 nitrous motor. I am using Diamond custom 5cc dome nitrous pistons. What rings should I get? I will be spray up to 700 to 800 between 2 stages of direct port. I was looking at Sealed Power Hellfire rings. From what I have seen and read they are pretty much the best out there. What gap would you guys recommend? Thank you.

That is not a question to ask on a site with guys that shoot mainly 150-200 shots or less.

There are alot of things going on in that engine on that much juice and experience from a seasoned engine builder is whats needed to decide that.

What deckheight on the block are you using for that 454?

Also, Good luck getting 700-800 hp worth of Nitrous into a small block.

I am using a World Products 9.8" tall deck block. 700-800 is the max, I will not be spraying any less then 500 tho.

The 9.8" deckheight is a fine choice. What are you using for cylinder heads?

Thank you. I will be using the All Pro LSW 12-2 heads with the 310cc intake and 116cc exhaust runners.

Did you call the ring manufacturer yet Josh and ask them?

Good power is an understatement!

Yeah, Sealed Power doesn't make a ring set to fit my pistons. Any other ideas on manufacturers that make nice ring sets?
