Default Spray and Pump Vs. Racing Gas

Looking for people to share how much they spray on pump gas and when or what level you switch over to racing fuel.

Let's hear it.

Are you talking about doing a standalone system with race gas in that tank?

Single fuel source in my case, but I am open to all discussion on the topic.

Wouldn't even worry about a standalone with race fuel at that level. I have been on a 200 on premium pump 93. Wouldn't risk going more than that on 93 though and that's just me personally.

Shiz and ATV like that daring stuff. I don't have pockets that deep! LOL!

^^^This. A few hundred on a SAFE system can save me thousands in the long run.

Me personally I have sprayed 250hp on 93 octane but i did pull a lot of timing out to do it so it was a dog with out it. If you are planning on driving it everyday or just occasionally I wouldn't run more than 150.

I have upgraded to a S.A.F.E. tank now and it runs much better not having to pull near as much timing.

Yeah we designed it just to keep everything as simple as possible and make an easy way to mount it.

not to hijack but what do yall think about a 500rwhp car on stock lines and rails with a 200 wet shot. would running a S.A.F.E. tank with race fuel allow me to keep maximum timing while on the jug and off without having to replace lines and rails?

Same here.

If you're well up to date on reading plugs and you're dedicated to truly reading your plugs the right way then this could work for you while spraying that much.

If you're one of the types that feels like it's not needed(reading plugs that is) then I wouldn't attempt what Minytrker said.

Why would you want to keep your motor timing?

If you run a standalone you will be fine as far as your rails and lines go.
