window switch automatic, save transmission Greetings
I plan to use a window switch to save my poor 4L60 on a 150 shot... have anyone tried this? it will help the trans or not? the stress on the engine would be too much?

Never used one, but I can't see how it would help an ailing trans. It's gonna see spray with or without one. Only advantage is a set RPM range unless you get one with a progressive so it hits softer out of the hole.
I know you are new around here but apparently you havn't read much in the nitros forum. Not intending to sound like a dick but in a very short period of time you will see 99% of the people on here have a window switch with there nitrous system.
They are used for many reasons and one of the top two or three is certainly transmition longevity. It is a great idea to have a window switch especialy if your tans is not built.

window switch is also used as a fail safe. It will keep you from spray low down in the rpm when the engine momentum is stressful to spray. Also a window switch can keep you from spraying to far in the rpm and hitting the engine fuel cut.

I use a window switch on my HC 200 shot, IF the settings are wrong and it doesent cut out for the 2-3 shift it will never grab 3rd.
Trans is a built 4l60, now i am going T400, 4L60 is just a issue at that power level
