Bottle Heater Question
Here is my question(s) I have a NX setup and two bottles, I do have a NX bottle heater, how long does it normally take to get to pressure? I thought I needed 1100 but found out thats not the case, I also have a spare bottle, and wondered what people do about heating it if it is not in the car, (let Pretend I am not at the track so I wont have a rig or pit). One of the bottles has been painted or wrapped, so torching is out, plus the guys I have talked to say DON'T put a torch to your bottle. True? Input please gentleman.
Do you guys leave the heater on while waiting for runs, or will the auto-temp feature work like it is suppose to and keep the bottle at pressure?
Sorry, Newbie
I would not torch a bottle. The reason being is that it flash heats the metal. Over time this can cause fractures in the bottle that can ultimately lead to bottle failure. This can especially happen if the heat is localized on a central part on the bottle for to long.

Also, I will have both bottles in the car, I have one hidden and a spare on the deck as show, (it will be full of course
) I hope not to have to remove the bottles and leave them to the side so i am hoping they will stay a decent temp inside the car. Spec's
