Default Custom NOS on LS1Truck questions?

I'm almost done with the drivetrain on my LS1 Truck conversion, still need to get the pcm lined out and some gears/posi, but when i'm thru i would like to install a nos system.

My intake tubing takes a 90deg turn right off of the TB using a rubber elbow, then thru a four inch aluminum tubing then the k&n,

my idea:

weld some bungs on the aluminum tubing, in stall the sprayers there and run the tubing along the intake and finally to the truck bed. Will taking a 90deg turn disrupt any airflow or decrease power or efficiency?

also, what parts would be involved and where is a good place to purchase these items?

you can see what i'm talking about (intake) on

thanks,

allen

That 90 Degree bend won't hurt at all. Sounds like a cool setup!

Allen, looks like a cool project. Good luck get 20MPG though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Are you doing a wet or dry system? Where is the MAF located? The bung idea is great, but just be sure you are using 1/16 NPT. For a wet system, install the bungs as close to the TB as possible; for dry, it obviously needs to be before the MAF, but locate the nozzles as far from the TB as possible to take advantage of the charge cooling as much as possible.
You sould be able to find the parts you need from any of the site sponsors.
