I am new to nitrous, but I have spent the past few months researching. The Stickies have helped me a lot!!!

Saftey:
-Window switch
-Timing controller http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...Store_Code=LPE
-Automatic bottle heater or NANO!
-Fuel pressure saftey switch or go with one of NitroDaves black controllers made by Trick. http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168041
-Non projected spark plugs that are 1-2 steps colder then what you are using now. Learn how to read plugs, and do not trust a wideband, or stock knock sensors
-Good fuel

https://ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-o...ry-vs-wet.html Read this thread and decide for yourself

I decided to go with a wet kit after reading this artical by the owner of NX.

As far as between wet and dry. Both are going to be awesome. The things that you have to take into account is what you are going to use as far as tuning and fuel system. Seeing that you are already at 430 hp, you are going to make sure that you have enough fuel for the nitrous.

No matter what system you are going with, you are going to be needing a fuel pump and most likely a hot wire setup. The stock pump is only good for around 450 whp. With 255 pump you should be able to get around 550 and with the hot wire system you should be able to get to 650 whp.

If you go with a dry system you are most likely going to have to replace those injectors. With the wet system you will only have to replace the fuel pump only.

Tuning with the dry requires a little more than the wet. This can be an added cost in the tuning process having to go to a tuner.

Window switch or progressive will be your best safety feature. If you want to get the most out of your setup a heater is also a big plus.

Like i stated above the fuel system is you limiting factor right now. Once you get that down you are going to be ready to hit that car with some nitrous.

Do you have a hot wire installed with that 255?? if not you will be good for around 550 whp.

Here is ours for the 78mm intake. Plate can hit upwards of 300 hp worth of nitrous, solenoids are good for 400 hp, jetting includes 50-100-150-200, limited lifetime warranty on the solenoids, 4 an feed line + our legendary customer support

We also have the vehicle specific plate systems that will have the stainless steel hard lines from the plate to the solenoids, custom solenoid brackets for a cleaner install.
