Sweet deal. Like I said if you need any help don't hesitate to ask. You're car should fly for sure.

Yeah it wants to turn the tires over a little. I was also having issues with the nitrous hitting instantly and there was a delay. I have since fixed that issue. I have to swap to a taller gear as this gearing / converter combo, in addition to the 3.07 first gear ratio, is posing traction issues and it scrubbing 60'.

I use the Nitrous Outlet controller. Window switch is set to 3,000 rpm. Leave on a 175 shot and then progress the other in over .4-.6.

Seems there is a decent chunk left in the 60'... Easily enough on the same pass with a correct 60' to get you solid into the 5.X range.

Yes. It slowed down because of traction issues. I'll be trying it again this weekend though.

I was thinking with a 1.32-1.35 60' it would go 6.09-6.18. I didn't think it would break into the 5.9x range. If it did that would be incredible.

It would be close... I think leaving on the full 200 and hooking with some slight adjustments you would be knocking on its door, if not there.

Simple setup running extraordinary!

EDIT: Looking back at the slip... 6.0X is more likely. Hope for some good air and let her rip! What is the goal and upcoming mods?

Thanks man. The goal is to eventually chase after the sbe nitrous record. Future mods are front suspension, gear swap, converter restall, and minor weight reduction then ported ls6 intake and tb, ported 241 heads, under drive pulley, ram air, custom cam, and a direct port setup. Of course upping the shot as well.

I'll be going up in compression at least a point and going to a much smaller cam.

Default New PB 1/8th mile

Decided to head to the dragstrip on a cold night but the track was prepped great to my surprise. No changes other than upping the shot to an .088 jet.

.088 jet
.044 fuel jet
16 degrees of total spark
Leaving on 175 bring the other in at .2.

1.40 60'
6.21@110.5---1/8th mile
3.99---330'
10.0@112-----1/4 mile (let off at 800ish ft and got on the brakes)

My last time out was on a 63n jet tune with 21 degrees total timing. My race weight on that pass was 3780. I thought about going for 9 second glory but I don't think my car will get there with an 80n jet and I am too chicken to go bigger. If had your race weight I would go for it.

I am pretty surprised your dad is okay with you going that fast without some bars in there. I am an old fool. There is no big loss if I bite it, but you have your whole life in front of you.
