E85 and N20.. Quench and timing questions..
How big of a hit are you spraying?
Any idea what your quench is set at?
IE gasket thickness and how far in/out of the hole is your piston at top dead center.
Thanks in advance.
I have the heads off right now and am on the fence about running a tighter .030-.033 quench (.040 gasket which would put me at 13.4cr) or putting it a bit wider at say .050ish and milling the heads to achieve my desired compression of 13.4.
The thought here is that the added quench volume makes things a litle less efficient and and allows you more resolution in your timing table. IE each degree of advance is less drastic with the wider quench than it would be to the tighter quench.

I'm just trying to find out where people are setting quench and if it is relative to how big of a shot they are spraying and if it is even wider due to E85 taking up more volume.
