I think you should tell us what 1/4 mile you are trying to get to. I've seen stock blocks hold up to a 250 shot with h/c/i with the right tune and fuel.

Wet or dry? What fuel pump do you run? What comprssion? ..........

There are so many factors that will help or limit the amount of nitrous you can safely use. Don't expect because someone says you can safely run a 300 shot that you can just throw those jets in and go race. You have to start small, log passes, read plugs and make adjustments to the tune as you work your way up in jetting.

10s I'm not sure how many ponies I'm pushing the day before my tune lost a bolt on in the bottom.end so I'm going with lq9 block forged pistons and rods bolts just not sure how much n2o to throw at it before I need a nitrous cam

Can't spray much on a stock pump. I would think you could run 10's on motor with your setup.

Rule of thumb is that stock pump is only good to about 450hp so you are already likely close to that limit without N2O.
A Walbro 255 should be on your wishlist.
As far as jetting, if you buy a wet kit it should come with jets that the manufacture has pre-determined and matched the right diameters for a certain shot. Unfortunately no 2 car respond the same so you could run fat or lean with those sizes. Ordering extra fuel jets is always a good idea. I personally order small diameter jets to lean out the mix. If you need to fatten it up you can drill out the jet and re label the size on it.

Start with a 100 or 150 shot, then go from there. Just run another fuel pump for the n2o setup or upgrade your pump like others have suggested. For n2o I rather have a separate fuel pump, etc.

If I.can get in the 10s all motor that would be great I think I would still get a small shot just for a little extra insurance if I'm on the street

We here sprayed
250 on a forged LS1
300 on a forged LS3
300 on a forged 6.0
250 on a forged LS2
ETC .....

+500 on a LSX and RHS

We didn't seen any issues , Good plugs for the shot + timing and tune .

a 255 pump by itself will only get you good to 550. Do a hot wire kit while you are at it. Those together will get you around 650 hp ready.

As far as the motor it is going to be able to handle a healthy shot. My advise is to start out lower 100-150 and slowly work you way up.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me

Up your pump, spray a 200 and let the LS eat! That will get you where you need to go and more! Good luck and don't over think what you want or your kit. Keep it simple running 10s in a cam'd ls1 on nitrous isn't hard. You are a head of the game!
