Newbie Question - - 150 shot ok?
I have a friend who is going to install a kit for me for $200. He owns a shop so it's no big deal to him. I'd give some details, but unfortunately I don't know anything about nitrous yet. I'm just getting into the game. I do know however that it's not NAWWWZZZZ....damn, i hate that movie!

Can a 150 shot kit be installed and only spray 75?
Since I'll be getting it so cheap, I feel I'd be stupid not to get the 150 kit. I can always upgrade whatever I need at a later date.
I know that it's most beneficial to spray right out of the hole, but since I won't be able to hook can I spray mid track?
BTW, my buddy owns a Motorsports shop so he could do anykind of tuning that's necessary.
Thanks for your help. I need all the feedback I can get here since my nitrous knowledge is very limited.
My kit does 50, 75, 100, 150 shots your will do something like this also. There are different ways with the traction problem. I was shooting 100 HP shot off the line with 5500 RPM dumps. I need to set my nitrous to come on slowly with a progressive controller or come off the line at a lower RPM. I use a window switch to turn on my nitrous. I put pills in like 3300 RPM to turn it on and 6300 for off. I also use a WOT (wide open throttle switch) So my car has to be up to 3300 RPM AND I have to have it floored to work. This is important if you have a 6 speed. With out one when you try to shift you will still be shooting nitrous and over rev and blow your motor. If you shoot at less than 3000 rpm's and you have to high of head pressure and maybe BOOM. I also use a fuel preesure safty switch so if my fuel pressure drops below a certain point it stops the nitrous from going. This would be bad if it did not.
Heck some people don't spray until second gear so this way they know their hooked up.
