Default Do I have to wait to spray on a new motor?

My short block has finally arrived. All the internals are forged, and I am finally going to run some nitrous.

How many miles should I put on it before:

1) simply pounding it NA
2) really punishing it with the juice

I would drive it enough(easy) to seat the rings and a few heat cycles if you have installed new valve springs.(NA or Spray) I would also change the oil and filter.I would give it at least 500 miles before pounding on it IMO.
