Hotcam sprayer here. The Hotcam loves the spray! I have a DP w/ stand alone fuel system. Spraying a 150 shot. My times averaged between 11.2 and 11.3 at around 122-123 mph. I never launched as hard as I needed to. Only around 4000 - 4500 rpm's. I know, I'm a wuss. But I'll get there in due time.

I only have cam, headers, exhaust and pully. Done through a 9" w/ 3.50 gears, Denny's steel DS, and McLeod Twin w/steel flywheel. And the car is pig heavy!

I have a friend that has a 01 a4 with the gm hot cam, lid, loud mouth, and a 3500 stall and a 125 shot and he is running 7.50's in the 1/8 mile. Also he couldnt spray in first because he couldnt get traction

I ran an 11.01 @ 123 with TNT F1 kit (150). This was with a 1.50 60ft.

Other mods were all bolt ons except pulley. Tires were 28-10-15 goodyear eagles, Moser 12-bolt 4.11's/spool, Ram 910 clutch.

3550 raceweight

Goodyear eagle Slicks. Sorry i didn't clarify, there some of the best hooking tires out there. only draw back is that 28-10-15 is the smallest tire they make.
