Ultimatly it is easier to make more usable power with boost since it builds. That is the best way to sum it up.

Ultimatly you can make all the power you want with nitrous that the engine will hold, but boost can easily add 500 hp and much more if you are trying to run 7s. If you want to run 500 hp of nitrous I would love to see that thing launch and make it down the track, It has been done plenty of times but ask the people who did it how much work it was. Then if you are trying to run 7s you are looking to add 800+ power. Without 4 kits you are talking atleast 300 per kit.
Turbo and nitrous cars make similar torque, no? More so than nitrous/turbo VS blower.

Boost is easier. That being said, I like nitrous better and I have been successful with both nitrous and blower. On my second full pass with an F1R I had been 4.90 and on my 8th pass I went a 4.78. I can't even count the passes it took to get that done on my nitrous car. Take it for what its worth.

I think you are being obtuse just for the sake of arguing. The link I posted explains it in pretty simple terms. If you can't understand it after reading that then you just don't have the mental aptitude to understand things of this nature.

If you say this a few more times, it may change something......

Maybe it is you that doesn't comprehend where I was coming from, ATV got it after I said it a second time.. I wasn't being obtuse, my question wasn't being answered.

Post the link 5 more times, it isn't going to change anything. I have grasped everything posted in this thread. Keep talking about my capabilities to understand the discussion if it makes you feel better.

The link didn't answer what I was trying to put my thumb on. The answers I was receiving also didn't answer my question, until ATV actually paid attention and answered it for me.

Thank you for dumbing it down for me though! I'm out..

Lemons
Are you trying to run your post count up? Do you need to sell something so you are trying to get 50 posts? At 10,000+ I doubt it. Why the hell do you keep asking the same damn question. It was answered in every form from summed up by me early on,to deeply explained that pushing air into the cylinder can get more then sucking almost anything into the cylinderr.

You sure Im the one not paying attention?
By explaining something I understood already, you answered the ops question, I had a different question which atv answered after I aske
d a second time.... He obviously has better comprehending than you.

Just to further make a point, ask what weight each of those combos were at.

Congrats on the .74 in the nitrous car Smith, you planning on making any holly springs races this year?

Thanks, I doubt I make it to Holly Springs but I really would like to. I'm a little outgunned in the class right now until I can work on my program. Hopefully if I can get something else together I will make it down that way.

nitrous car was about 2810
blower car was about 3400

I think all the weight penalties and size restrictions for turbo cars pretty much answers this, I am no expert though like the others that are posting.
