Very nice Thadd. I didn't know if you were going to go turbo or not this winter and jump ship like I did. 330' time shows a lot of promise as well. She's moving after the first 150' for sure.

The converter is to tight at the line. We are going to pull it and carry it to Lenny

3.77 to the 330' is if I'm not mistaken faster than anyone that's been going for the record has gone. If you can get the power in sooner off the starting line, I see a mid to high 5.70 coming real soon.

What's the tune-up looking like? Any power to be gained in stepping on it a bit? I take it your still running the 82n jet and 73f jet?

We think there is power to be gained in a lot of places. Still pulling 6 degrees of timing at the line and ramping it back in. Also havent done drag brakes. Still on the heavy stock lt1 brakes. Literally its the exact same set up, the only thing change was to the glide and converter. We didn't get a chance to change anything because the car wasn't running right most of the day. We figured out the alternator was bad and making the bs3 freak out. Once we unhooked it the problem went away. By then we started racing and the car was working so we didn't want to change to much at that point. Went a 9.6@150, then a 9.23@147, then the 9.13@147. Only thing changed was bringing the nitrous on sooner and tightened the limiters up some.

A Nitrous jet size of .082" or 2.0828mm should produce:
303.66 HP with 1 port(s)

Actual HP to the wheels: 258.11 HP

Not sure why guys get so hung up on "shot size"....Put enough in it to run as fast as you want it to go.
82 jet is not alot of nitrous on a built motor. IMO

Car we were helping out with yesterday has a pair of 92n jets in it... Just give it what it needs.

I'm on an 82n so what ever that is. I was told it was a 200 so that's what I have went by. I have never pulled my car on the dyno with nitrous so I never knew what I was adding on.

Yeah it makes pretty good power. I just wish I had the extra money right now to drop more weight on it. Still heavy as hell I think

Which is why I stated he was running a 82n/73f tune-up which is what his car has always had in it from day one. Did you see me say he was on a 200 shot?

I know Thadd wasn't trying to pull a fast one, I know him better than that.

It doesn't matter what jet. You are still doing something that hasn't been done before. Great job.
