Default Nitrous Fuel Question

I got an LS7 and going to run somewhere between 100-150 shot. Do you think I will need to upgrade my fuel system to do this or will a tune be ok. I also have a cam, headers, full exhaust.

If you are on the factory fuel pump i would say at the least you will need a fuel pump. I would give Racetronix a call and see if they recommend anything for your setup.

I have a stock fuel system now on 93oct. I am making just over 510rwhp on my current setup. I was gonna plan on doing a dyno tune for the n02.

are you planning on using a wet system or dry? if your going to a shop to get it tuned start small and have them check the duty cycle of the injectors too.

The wet shot is usually safer cause you'll be supplying the extra fuel to go with the oxygen that relying on the pcm and maf to supply the fuel. You should be fine with the injectors but a pump would be a great insurance policy.

You think just a boost-a-pump would be fine?

From the research I've done and through some contacts an inline pump would be just fine. With the demands of a 150 shot you would be fine with either. It just depends on how you want to grow your combo and how much work you want to involve. I would invest in some safety equipment like an auto shut off and fuel pressure gauge to prevent any damage.

I purchase the new AEM wideband failsafe for that. I am going to tune it for my n02 selonid to shut off if it goes outside a/f normals.

sounds like you've got all your ducks in a row for a nice set up. The good thing is that your already forged so you will have a little forgiveness but you don't want to hurt those beautiful titanium rods. Don't forget about the other fails safes like a bottle heater for the right pressure and also keep it from getting to hot or you wont have any liquid NO2, its will turn to vapor and cause you to run rich and erratic.
