Good plug pics, are you doing this at the track? I would pull another degree to be on the safe side and lean it out a bit, see how the fuel ring and timing mark are, and then maybe add the degree back in from there. If your at the track, see if it picks up with the changes. Do you have a wideband by chance?

You are not idling any are you?? You shut it down after the run right correct.
From the pictures you are a little rich. Timing needs to come out. This would be if there wasn't any idle time on them.

Explain to me about the timing.
The timing mark is so close to the end of the strap I thought that was extremely safe.
I've always been told get the timing mark close to the curve
I cut the engine off at the stripes.........

There are always different ways to do things and for sure this could take a good amount of passes but we intend to aim on the safe side for all things.
Finally the reason everyone is telling you to take a degree out is because when you lean a motor out automatically your putting more heat in the motor so taking that extra degree out as you lean it down will ensure a little more window of safety and like I said, you can always add it back in. Make small changes and let the timeslip and plug tell you what the motor wants.
Hope that helps!
