Guys, You can have the nano Regulator set at a lower pressure. Anytime I order a kit for a car I am tuning I have the regulator set at a lower flowing pressure. During the summer I just pull the nano off the car because its to big of a pain fighting the pressure creep.

Tom @ Nano said there's a little ball in the regulator that gets worn, so contact him for a kit (little plastic ball & washer if needed).. He also has a video on how to install it. The pressure can be lowered by simply removing a washer or two. One washer removed = 50 psi and so on.. I've taken two out, but yet to test it.

Since there are bottle heaters out there, maybe someone can make bottle coolers......

Looks like Shortdog answered it. Best to contact NANO directly.

after running the nano for a few weeks- Im about to pull it out of the car.

It's impossible to keep the bottle at the recommended 70* or less, so the pressure is always 1300+ It's pretty much useless unless it's the middle of the winter.

I justed purchased a NANO 3000 kit and hope to God I'm able to keep the pressure down. Here in GA the heat gets nasty. Might try a bottle blanket/bag a squeeze a few gel packs in there to cool things down a bit. Worst case I'll purge until the pressures down.

You have to purge a hell of a lot to get it down-- and thats if your purge can open at 1200-1300 psi. Most small ones cant.

The fella I bought my kit from said the pressure got high but never over 1100 in 90 degree weather. Did you try ice packs? If so how efficiently do they cool the bottle? I know it's a pain in the *** but being that I'm in a truck I can keep the cooler in the back if need be.

I tried a bunch of different stuff to keep it cool, but nothing really worked.

all you need a few ice packs, and give it a few spray of water out squirt bottle, and some lil time, you will get it to normal pressure, thats how my friend does it, its heat spike right now in cali mid 80s

NANO sells a Ice blanket or you stop at the local store and buy a bag of ice and lay it on it and it works././////ice melts though so you can have a lil H2o mess unless you have it in a place where it doesnt matter. I had mine in the spare tire compartment and the water dripped out the hole in bottom. You could build you a cooler box to put bottle in and chill it with ice also. It can be a PITA but don't underestimate the power gains from using it.

Hot days, keep the nitrous bottle in the freezer until it's time to play. While the car is out, buy a bag of ice to keep it cool.

Sounds like I'll just have to keep the cooler in the back of the truck with some gel packs and ice on the days I'm planning to "play".
Who has used NANO's Ice Blanket? Worth buying?

If you can keep it cool from the start you might have a fighting chance, but once the pressure gets into the 1300+ range on a hot day then you can throw ice packs on it for an hour and they won't make a dent.

Also keep in mind that if you open the Nano when it's 30 degrees out, and the car warms up to 40-50 degrees inside, then your pressure will be too high.

As for the power gains, the dyno said I picked up 30 rwhp, but at the track I lost 3 mph on back to back passes. I made a pass with a regular bottle and kept the other bottle in a cooler of ice. After my baseline pass I swapped the Nano equipped bottle in and immediately made a pass before the bottle could heat up and ran 3 mph slower. That was when I removed the Nano permanently from the car.

^Did you up your fuel jets? You was probably rich and ran slower due to that. I didn't have to up my fuel jets at all.
