I have had mine mounted on the front of the intake for about 3 months no problem here.

I am just wondering if moving them away would be better for them?

Default Heat + Solenoid = Bad?

How much heat can the solenoids take?
I was wondering because mine are mounted on the intake.
And I already had to send mine back for a leaky seal.

When you say already, how much use are you talking about? Do you keep nitrous in your lines even when you're not using the N2O? Seals are a wear item and eventually have to be replaced. Performance wise you the closer the solenoid is to the jet the better.

About a bottle through it.
NX said it was probably a bad seal from the manufacturer. So heat was probably not the issue, but made me wonder. My solenoids get really hot. So I was thinking about relocating them to the firewall and off the engine.

At night I do purge the lines.

Just remember the further away the solenoids are from the nozzle the softer the hit.

My solinoids are 2ft. away from the fogger! Is that close, or should I go closer...It works fine for me though! How close is yours?
