Can i run Nitrous?
Could i run nitrous on my stock LS1? What would be a safe set-up, you know, w/o riskin the engine. Does nitrous wear down the life of the engine? <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
I have ran nitrous on about everything I drive including my 02ss.As long as you take all of the safety issues you will be fine. There are alot of write ups on here just browse around and you will learn.Just dont get to greedy with n2o it will get you that way.Good luck

i run a nx kit on my stock ls1 i am shooting 125 shot right now with no problems at all the car runs excellent you do need to make sure you get all the right safety pieces though if you have a m6 you need a window switch if you have a a4 you will be ok without one i run a tps switch 15lb bottle with bottle heater fuel cut off switch and nx rocker panel switches seems to be very safe i strongly recomend nitrous express but there are other good kits out there also

A window switch?
A window switch turns the Nitrous "on" at a desired RPM, and then "off" before redline!
It is your job to set the "on" rpm and "off" rpm to whatever you want!
On a camaro you should go..."ON" @ 3000 rpms, and "off" @ 5900 rpms (before redline)!
