Default Direct port on stock bottom end, questions??

I'm ready to put a direct port setup onto the TA here in the spring. So far I have all the bolt on stuff pretty well taken care of, including heads, cam, 12 bolt, etc. I'm going to upgrade the fuel system at the same time I do the nitrous. My question has to do with the range of jetting that I could use reasonably safe with the stock lower end. I am planning on a new motor at the end of next year (hopefully), but want to have some reliable fun in the meantime. Any comments you guys could share would be very welcomed!

I've heard of people putting 150 shots on LS1s that've been basically untouched. Bottom end will handle the power, but 125 shot should give you some damn good times...just make sure you do something about that clutch...dont wanna think about everything else, then have 500+ ft/lbs break that ****! (if you haven't already upgraded) Good luck!
