120 Volt Heater In Car
120 Volt Heater In Car So i was going to go with a NANO but I live in FL and think it would cause issues with the heat. So iv been looking into bottle heaters. Keep in mind this is a street car as of now. Everyone complains about the heating time and keeping it heated properly through the run and the wait time. Heres my thinking..............
I have 2 10 pound bottles
Buy 2 120 Volt 500 Watt Bottle Heaters From Arc They are 12 In Wide
Install a 1200 Watt Power Inverter to run both heaters
Arc Sells 120 Volt Pressure Regulators have them installed on both bottles
Math
500W/115V=4.4 Amps Each Heater x2 =8.8 Amps at 120 Volt
at 12 volt they are under 300W and pulling 20ish amp
Think this is a much better idea for the electrical system. Will provide a lot more heating area and should produce more consistent pressures as well with the heaters.
