I guess its possible, but the miss is so slight... Another thing I just noticed... If put it in D and let it idle and start rolling on its own, it is not smooth at all.. It kind of sputters along. like... it feels like im very gently tapping the brake, but im not.

i ran them in my 2010 camaro thats cammed making 470's and i spray it from time to time . never had no issues and it was tuned with the factory plugs. but now i run tr6 until i know im gonna spray over 75 shot. only reason for changing is their was not reason for me to run that plug when i only spray my car maybe 10 20 times in a whole year

Well the TR6's are one step hotter than the BR7's and are a projected tip plug. You could also run a BR6 (same heat range as a TR6 but without the projected tip) and that would be fine too, but most choose a BR7 simply for the added insurance. The projected tip is more of the culprit here, which is why the TR6 is not really preferred. It might work fine, but it might not...not sure about you, but that's a risk I am not willing to take lol

Yes BOOM could be the end result lol. Bottom line...lot's of guys ran the TR6 in the past and had no issues, but it was one of those things where people really didn't know better, and now with better options like the BR7 (and better info) it's easier to make the better choice here

I put these(br7) in 2 weeks ago for spray, and drive it around town some as well, and can tell no difference or loss with them in.

OP I would double check the wires- condition, routing, and ohm them. Are they originals also? I don't think the plugs are causing it to run bad. I ran way too cold of a plug in my carb'd big block and besides fouling out in a few thousand miles it ran great up until then lol.

Betting one of your wires is bad or not fully clicked in. Had this happen once

Alright... So, the plot thickens... After I put the plugs in and started the car, I noticed white smoke out the exhaust... It was a damp humid night so i figured it was just from that... Well, I had noticed it again the other day, then again today.

I havent touched anything but the plugs and wires. I rechecked the wires last night and they SEEM tight. What the hell could be causing the car to run like this and with the white smoke? Is it not burning all the fuel for some reason? I have no CEL, but my cats and rear 02's have been tuned out.

White smoke is water. Might be condensation. After the car has been running does it keep smoking? Has it been humid there?

The 2 times I really noticed it have been on rainy humid days. I havent gone out of my way to look on the other days. I really only noticed it those times because the wind blew it into view of my mirrors. Then i got out and looked.

Also, just talked to my neighbor who helped me and he mentioned having to use pliers to remove one of the wires because it was on so tight. He said he pulled it so much the wire was turning white.

Idiot.

I may have found my problem. New wires going on tomorrow.

I am surprised its not throwing any codes with a subtle misfire.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

What I thought was a slight misfire was not the case..

I took off from a light today and suddenly my battery gauge dropped and the temp started climbing in a hurry. I immediately pulled over and figured I snapped a belt.

Got out and popped the hood and sure enough, the belt was off. However, it was not broken.

After looking around and saw that the main idler pulley was sitting sideways. I was able to take the single bolt out by hand and all the bearings just fell out. Called up a friend who ran to autozone and grabbed one for $50. Spent about 19 seconds putting the new one in, and the belt back on.

No more hesitation. No more "miss". I guess what I was feeling was the bearings going out and causing a very minor drag on everything. It never made a squeek that I heard or anything.

Maybe someone can answer one other thing.. On the back of the old idler was what looked like a spacer, or cover, it was a silver colored disc.. It was chewed up bad, so I didnt put it back on with the new idler pulley.

How important is that part, and does it have a name?
