Default New to nitrous world

I am very intrested in NOS, but I am wondering what the dangers are. I have heard horror stories and great stories. I have an a4 and heard it destroys the trans. What am I really looking at with a 100 wet shot? I like the tnt kit with the power ring. Is that a popular kit? I don't want to deal with a motor or tranny anytime soon. my cars a 2002 w/ bolt on's only, no motor work.
Thanks for your help

N2O is plenty safe as long as you take enough time to understand what's going on and set your car up correctly. The vast majority of horror stories you hear about blown up motors, etc ar the result of user error. As for the tranny...it's not that N2O itself is bad for the transmission, but rather the 500-600+ ft/lbs of torque that's going through it. Sooner or later the tranny will puke with that level of power, but these trannys are not as bad as everyone says IMO. The parts are there to make them last with sane levels of N2O used occasionally.
