I have an MSD Window switch. I have a 2001 C5 6sp. MSD said they needed to "adjust" the switch to properly work with the LS1.

I was told to simply snip the red/blue loop wires? This would effectively make it a low voltage switch which is what the LS1 needs? Similar to a 4 cylinder setup.

Does anyone have more explicit info? Is this correct?

Yes, clip both wires.
