My friend just bought him a 2001 Z and he is thinking if he could just put a Nx kit on it and leave it just stock with out other mods and if so what does he need and what times do yall think he would run

well your friend is going to have to change his stock sparkplugs to non platinums. Then i personally would put in a fresh fuel filter just to be safe.And start small with jetting and either have an autotap set up handy to check everything out or get a tech2 scanner and check things out ie o2 readings and knock sensor readings. If everything goes good you can pick up a ton in the quartermile. I ran 13.53@102 all stock and then 11.85@115 with a 150 wet shot on Nittos. I also ran 12.10@113 on 100 dry shot and Nittos. First off is your pals car a m6 or a4? auto matics don't require a window switch set up like the manuals do. I personally don't have a window switch. I spray a fogger nozzle right before the throttlebody. i run the stock mass air meter and
a Tech 2 is a scan tool used by GM dealers but is now availible to buy for private use. I use a push button for activation and wait till about 2500 rpm to spray,that helps traction and saves the motor a lot of grief too. To turn it off let off the button. My kit is a converted NOS set up.with purge and bottle heater.All components are NOS. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> (i started out with a 5177 kit)

What kind of setup do u have the twin nossle or single nossle , maf setup and how do u put in that tach 2 setup and where can he get it. what about the window switch when would turn the nitrous on and turn it off thanks for all the help
