I have an 02 firehawk and i was thinking about running the setup from NOS that is made for ls1's.. Needed to know how safe it would be running this with like a 75 shot, i am scared of breaking something cause the car is under warranty. Also what would i need to upgrade. Please let me know your experience with nos.. This is any everyday car and i street race on the weekends now and then. Car has bolt on's like slp headers and cat back, mass air, ram air kit etc..thanks

 

All you would need to upgrade would be the spark plugs. You need to get a colder plug to prevent melting plugs under the spray. Get you a set of NGK TR6'S and you'll be fine. You can safely run a 100 shot on that car for a long time. I have run a 100 shot on my 99 for a year and a half and have no horror stories. If you want to go with any biggerer shot then that I'd recommend upgradeing your fuel pump and injectors. Be careful nitrous is addictive and you're going to get addicted. Go for it man its a blast. I would suggest going with a Nitrous Express wet kit and getting a bottle heater and purge. Its kick ***...go for it...the Hawk will be fine...
