Wes, sorry for the lag in hosting the pic of your motor... I had it cropped a bit...

looks good, but is that a N20 line being used for the fuel? Or does it not matter, ive always used blue for N20,and Red for Gas.

I had to use it to get it going... the latest pics have the politically correct colors.. no difference in the lines other than color which i do keep the same when i can...

well it has the MPH to run 10.3's but with a lowly 1.93 the best it has seen is 11.32 @ 132MPH.. on DR's... the car has lots more in it but to get it to hook takes it to the next level which incurs more dollars, broken parts, cluthces etc.. i have more fun with the car i can drive home and with that mile an hour i can catch a decent amount of cars on the big end... he he.. which has suprised more than a few on the street... all in all the NOSzle setup has provided lots of fun, reliability, and with the way the tune is longevity as well... to run this setup you definitly need the Ramchargers timing computer.. and good gas.. and your on your way to a fairly low dollar 10sec capable ride...

Wes,

Did you have to modify anything to get the NOSzle to fit correctly on the Z06? Or is it basically bolt on top of the fuel injectors with no modification?

I have a 2000 C5 coupe and interested in doing this set up also.

Thanks
-Tuan

no mods necessary.. just had to use spacers under the fuel rails.. other than the spacers and longer bolts everything bolts right in... it was a time consumming install but pretty easy all in all...

I like that. It would be cool to hide everything by mounting the parts under the window crowl and puting the covers on to hide the lines. But less room to hide all that on a corvette. Just a idea "a hidden big shot fogger".

Wes,

How is your system jetted? I just received my kit and wanted to run 200hp but the included jets are for 150 or 300. What did you do for spacers and bolts?

thanks,

Shawn

NX is coming out with a New direct port called the NXL it has a fuel rail and everything. the solenoids are mounted on the rail. its all self contained. andthe orifice the injector uses is about 4 times as large as NOS' Nossle. It seems that it will be an awesome kit. Im waiting until it hits the shelf. called NX, they said 1st of the year. NX NOS

You can see pics of the new NX direct port kit only in the 2003 catalog at this time. But it is bad !!!

Funny everyone shoots down NOS for being the innovator and gives props to those that R&D (Rob and Duplicate.) Given the NX kit may have its improvements they are still only the company that followed in the shadow of someone else.

the NOS is a great design, and very simple, but clever concept.

The NX just took it one step further, with billet rails, and short lines to the nozzles. Makes for a cleaner install (imho)

Nothing wrong with imporoving an existing product, more good products, competion, lower prices, we (consumer) benefit in the long run.

Ryan.

Can someone get a picture of the new NX kit, and possibly a price. I'm real close to buying my kit(actually next week if I'm lucky). So if this kit is as good as you say it is I might just hold off until January. Thanks in advanced for you help.
