does this part exist (for using bottle pressure gauge)?
i have a bottle pressure gauge but i would rather connect it to the back of the bottle opposite of the nitrous line than use the blue adapter that came with it. I believe ive seen this done on a bottle before and was just wondering if i'm smoking crack and if not do you know what its called or the part number.
btw, its a 15lb nitrous express bottle.
Thanks,
Bryan

some of the newed NX bottles have a "always on" port, on the bottle, thats not controlled by the valve.
This is a great place to mount a guage, or a sending unit for their heater, or electric gauge.
I'm going to send this thread to my friend, who's an NX dealer, and can get you the part number.
Ryan.

thanks, my bottle is only like 3 or 4 months old so hopefully it will have this. Not sure if it would make a difference since its a 15lb bottle though, but i dont see why it would
look on the bottle (its not the large blowoff tube) but there might be another plug that you use a allen wrench to remove, some have it, others dont.
The new bottle valve will fit the 10, and 15# bottles, but not the 12# CF one.

all CF bottles i have seen have multiple ports for a gauge and sending unit.. regardless of MFG. My NOS CF bottle has this and i run both the gauge that came with it and the pressure unit for my auto meter gauge... and their is ONE company that makes the bottles for all mfg's.. most use the early style valve while the later style is used by NOS and a few other mfg's high end kits..
