Default Surging Ahhhhhh!

Ive noticed that no matter what my bottle pressure is and how full or empty it is does not effect my slight surge at the top of the 1/4 mile.

Any tips to make the bottle not surge?

I have a 10lb TNT bottle and a 10lb NX bottle the NX does seem to surge more than the TNT.

Thanks

Mike

sounds like you got a fuel pressure drop to me. i was working on a car last month with the same surge and found out that the fuel pressure was surging up and down once nitrous was engaged. funny thing was that the car had an inline warbrol pump for the nitrous. i just removed it and it ran perfect. this car had a TNT F2 kit. i would first change the fuel filter and install a intank pump for the nitrous. what kit do you got?

I have a walbro in tank pump! New fuel filter 30 lb injectors. This is a LT4 car. I also have Fuel Pressure saftey switch set at 35 psi since LT1's run at 43.5 psi. I also have the TNT F2 kit but still have the smaller jets so im only running a 150 RWHP shot!

SOUNDS LIKE....for whatever reason you are rich. It usually is low bottle pressure. If not you may try droping the fuel side down one jet. JUST BE SURE YOU HAVE A WAY TO READ O2'S SO YOU DON'T GO LEAN.

No its not rich ive had it on a WB o2 dyno and it right were it should be 13.0 on motor and 12.0 on the spray. I could just be that anythin other than the first pass on the bottle is crap!

how is the bottle mounted in relation to the pick up tube? and try it with the fuel switch bypassed... i ahve seen this be the culprit...

the second post by taqwache was my car.the TNT surged like hell when engaged.i just removed the inline pump and it ran great.i think your fuel pump might not be getting enough voltage.also, try bypassing your fuel safety switch,i have heard people having trouble with them.
