if it was on the edge before for some reason the cold weather might push it over, your engine is going to need more fuel to keep up with the denser air, or fuel filer sounds like a good bet.

if your not going to use the fpss then you should use a fuel presure gauge or maybe you could just watch your 02's, not sure if that would be good enuff though.
you have determined that the fpss is turing off the nitrous, now you need to find out why.
