NOS on Silverado

NOS on Silverado Hi All,
First off i apologize if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but i thought the best advice i should get here since its all about Nitrous. I own a '02 Silverado 5.3 and have a single fogger kit just sitting at home for the past year. I was originally going to use that on my Nissan 240SX that was totalled earlier that same year then i moved on to the trucks.
Installation of that kit should not be a problem but what i wanted to know what shot can this motor hold up safe as i'm not familiar on this matter? Would i need to get anything else to make this work better/safer such as colder plugs, exhaust, after market intake, upgraded fuel pump, any concerns about the Tranny? And will i have any possible reliability issues later down the road.
Since unfortunately I'm on a very strict budget if there is something that i don't need to accompany the Nitrous set-up then i rather skip that step because i don't have the ends to buy it.
Any info in regards to this will be greatly appreciated in advance.

Re: NOS on Silverado i don't know anything about that fogger kit but i have been watching the truck guys with nitrous for awhile. it is just like the cars, if you keep it to a 125 shot the fuel pump and engine should be fine. the tranny is another story, if you spray a couple of bottles a week it wont last, the truck is heavier and will kill the tranny faster than in the cars. if you just go thru one bottle a month that tranny will probably last a long time.
