Default What to do once my Nitrous is installed

Ok here it goes. this saturday im picking up a TNT powering wet Kit. my car was recently tuned at eastsideperformance for my bolt ons. and we put some timing in the car i think between 27-29 degrees of it. what should i do when i get my nitrous hooked up. Should i get the Timing tuner and take some out? or will it be okay with just a window switch? i really dont wanna have to get the car retuned and spend another 500 bucks

If you run a nice fat AFR of mid 11's or lower you should be "safe" at that timing with a shot of 125 or less.
Make sure you check the AFR on a dyno, and scan for knock

what he said but 11.5>11.8 is fine with that much timing. Anyway the only way to tell is shoot smaller>Autotap>adjust>a lttle bigger shot and so on.
Sounds like a lot of work but if you don't, it would be a "Motor life is short, so play hard"

How about the ramchargers timing tuner to pull some timing out while on the spray? This is what i use and it works nicely. Also has a built in window switch too.

thats probally what i am going to do, i was just looking for something a little cheaper for the time being... can i use a resistor to trick the air temp sensor to lower the timing? for the time being?

id imagine that the resistor mod (for hotter temps) would work. It usually will pull 3-4 degrees using one of the warmer values.

I think you should be fine. Spray one gear and autotap it see if you get knock. 91 octane 27 degrees should be fine.
