2 step with nos controller and COS5

2 step with nos controller and COS5 here is what I am thinking:
MSD two step for ls1 plug and play
EFIlive COS5 for timming
and harris speed microedge 1 st gear lock out and window switch set
can I use the MSD 2 step off the line and leave it connected?? of do I need to switch it off? I dont use my line lock after the burn out and would rather not connect the 2 step to the line lock
any sugestions??
