Default Tnt fuel solenoid

Anyone ever seen a case where the fuel solenoid was intermittent. One time 02s would be fine and then the next time runs lean all on the same run. 02s would sometimes start out at 950 and then would drop down to 890. Tia

My buddy had a solenoid start to go bad on his F2 kit, he was hitting it with a 300 shot though. It would come in and out.

Yep had a plunger seal swell from Citgo gas. Solenoid started out intermittent then plugged completely.

Like mentioned above, it the cheap gas that will swell it Like CITGO from 7-11 or citgo stations. I think its ethonol that they put in to raise the octain to the 93 level. Its a cheap additive they dont tell you about. I had mine swell on a 200 shot and later the motor let go

Only use good name brand gas like Amoco, Shell or something like that. I have used nothing but Amoco since and never had a problem

sorry to disappoint you countryboy , but all gasoline brands are made from a base(generic) gas. the only thing that sets them apart are the additives. i know, i haul gasoline and it makes me laugh when people say exxon is better than citgo or texaco. its all the same stuff. i pull all kinds of gasoline from the same refinery. and most of the additives are similar. one other thing, no matter where you fill up, its never going to be a pure brand (e.g. exxon) the tanker that just delivered fuel will always have a small amount of gasoline mixed in from the previous load that didnt drain completely. the only pure fuels are AV-gas, JP-8,and other jet fuels that require the tanker to be steamed clean between loads.
