No flame here but one should ask themselves what costs more the safety stuff or a new LS1 motor?
A 100 shot with no safety switches is not the best thing to do. It only takes one time to blow.

im not going to shoot 100.....with the sneeky pete u can only get bout 50hp at about 2 runs..so now lets ask??? since im gonna spray 50 should i get the nitrous safety stuff???????????

for a 50shot i put my vote in for no safety stuff required, unless you are over 400hp allready. i can understand the idea of a 50 shot but not why you wouldn't get a regular bottle. it would be more of a pain in the *** than it would be worth geting it filled all the time.

well i am not over 400 hp <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> im pretty much stock except for free mods and ported maf. i think i will just get the sneeky pete and a big bottle so i dont always have to refll the f$$ker????? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and does it matter what knd of bigger bottle i get?? what bigger bottle fits up to the cheater system?

the ported maf might worry me a little, do you have access to atap, if your ltrims aren't to far out of line then once again i wouldn't worry. your just talking about ocasional use of a 50shot.
i wouldn't even sweat the plugs, it's just a 50 shot.i have ran a 100-150 shot on 6 diferent vehicles(ocasional use) and never had a problem, the most i ever did was a fuel presure gauge and we know your fuel system is good for 400+hp.

I would go with a NOS 5177 dry kit. The sneaky pete kit would be ok but I don't beleive you'll see anywhere near 50 hp out of it b/c the way it is designed. I don't even think it has an actual solenoid does it? If you go with the 5177 kit you can run a 50 shot and be very effective with it.

can i put the sneeky pete on my ls1? it says for carburated applications only? what are the capabilities hp whise? will i need anything else since im only gonna be spraying like 50 shot? ie..tr6's, window switch,etc..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Unless you are looking to squeeze out a win with someone you are running close to..and do it secretly..dont bother with a sneeky pete. It will only give very small increases...like maybe a .2 in the quarter. You will also be out of nitrous after every run and have to refill it. Not worth even hooking up. But yes...it would work..just rig it up to spray in fron tof the MAF.
