Default Anyone using

Denso Iridium IT22 spark plugs? I was going to use IT20's, which are one step colder, but the shop was out and the Owner said these should be just fine due to the higher efficiency of the plugs. Currently have TR6's, I have had an excellent experience with them, minus actually installing-damn coil pack bolt at #8 end-not there anymore

Either way I will post results from track, and general driveability after install, probly this week sometime, feel a little lazy right now. TIA.

Charlie.

Hahaha... looks like you and me both bought into the "hype" I just got my ITF20s in the mail today.

I will dyno test them on motor and on spray. At $96 for 8 plugs if they arent everything everyone says Ill be sure to let everone know. Lol. God I feel like such a ricer.
But a few local friends that deal in high HP turbo cars swear by them...so i figured it would be worth a try on my high compresssion nitrous application. We shall see.
One thing they did tell me is the NGK iridiums are half the price and better quility. So if I like the plugs I will go NGK iridium. If not...back to my beloved tried and true TR-6

Hopefully, it's not hype (crossing fingers as I type this). I too have heard about the big booster guys running them, didnt hear about the NGK's being cheaper, didnt ask either. I will hopefully have them in this week. Posting results after install also, thanks.

I just spoke to a tech guy at NGK. He said they do not have an iridium equivalent for the TR6, all they offer is a TR55IX, stock#7164. How do you think these would work with nitrous?

Mike

small shots, like 75 and under just fine, i ran my stock pkugs at a 75 shot w/ a lot of passes, checked them often just cause they were stock and prone to ground strap/electrode (platinum dot) failure. you can run 100 shot, but i dont recommend it. Good-luck.
