Default Will NOS hurt my car???

I have a 2001 SS Camaro that has only had a few mods on it (375 HP) and I want to get a NOS kit put on. I would probably only shoot about 75 hp and I need to know if this is going to be bad for my car before I have it put on...

Also, if there is anything that i could put on my car so the NOS wont be so bad on it let me know...

1 more thing---Does it really make that much of a difference to reduce the weight of the car, like taking out seats and not having a full tank and stuff like that?

NITROUS will not hurt your car, Can your motor your motor YES. If you plan on getting a Nitrous Kit make sure that u buy all the safety equipment. Dont spray below 3000 RPM- Get an MSD Window Switch, Spray 100 to 125 shot on your car if u want, if you want to go more than 150 get a Intank Fuel Pump-180 dollars----------->Sponsors
Make sure your also not running to lean and youll be fine.

I personally am spraying a 150 Shot wet Kit with no problems, but u decide if u want the pump or not....

All said,, Go and Kick some Mustang ***!

P.S.- Rule of thumb- For every 100 Pounds you lose on the car, thats a tenth in the quarter mile. (But thats if u want ur car on a diet)

Im sure ull get a little more help in a sec...

No, a properly installed nitrous system jetted for a 75 shot (and when correctly used) is not going to hurt the motor... But before you do anything, you should probably go read over The Colonel's N2O Tech Files.

It will put the motor at as much risk as adding 75 hp any other way.

I agree that it won't hurt your motor on a 100 shot or less without doing all the fuel upgrades. On a side note, I just tried out my 75 dry shot last night and OMG, it is freaking awesome! I have nitto DR's and couldn't spray in 1st or 2nd without instantly lighting up the tires. I am now a firm nitrous lover. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
