Newbie install Q.
I am just about done installing my Nx wet kit. The last thing I really have to do before I fill my bottle, is to hook up the fuel line/ fuel rail to the solenoid. Well, before I can do this, I have to take out the schrader valve on the fuel rail right? I am guessing it comes off like a tire valve, unscrew and pull? Next, I am guessing there will probably be some fuel pressurized in the rail, so I have to bleed it right? Will there be a mass amount in there that gonna leak all over the engine bay? Last but not least, I have a valve remover, once I take it off and put the hose on, I will still be able to re-install the valve back in if I wanted to right? (sorry, but i have never removed that valve before) TIA
I have the same question. So, after removing the schrader valve is the fuel rail itself threaded? It doesn't look like the fuel line will thread to anything once the valve is removed. I need to know asap so your replies are very much appreciated.
I have already installed and finished the fuel line. It was a breeze. Once you take the cap off of the fuel rail, just push the valve in (Kind of like if you were releasing air out of a tire) and it should bleed a little fuel, not much, at least mine didnt. Then just twist the schrader valve out with a removal tool. After that, twist the braided fuel line on to it. It was pretty simple. good luck.

I bought I fuel pressure test set for around $30 that had a push button and a drain hose on it so you can bleed the pressure off and route the excess gas to a fuel can and keep gas off everything in the engine bay. At least it won't come spraying out. I forget the name of the store, but I've seen them at other places. I didn't like the spraying I get on some vehicles when I didn't have it. Of course, you still need the schrader valve tool. It might be in the AC repair section too.
